If you have got a rational expectation from this epic romance ,you will come overwhelmed from the theater with the contemplation of scheduling for another show of the movie.Don't expect it to be a war-epic or an inane masala movie--that's what I mean from rational expectation.Movie is the voyage from a marital alliance to the eternal love between an Emperor and a princess.Movie starts with the depiction of medieval India's political circumstances in which the concerned Emperor Akbar gets the crown.Later on when Jodha enters his life---movie gets it starting in real sense and afterwards with an innate flow it reaches the climax. To depict the culture rich rajputs and mughals the Director uses the costumes ,jewelry and architecture of that era in a splendid way.Music is certainly there to accomplish every moment, let it be the moments of love ,war or festivity.
Most spectacular aspect of the movie happens to be the most apt casting if the characters. Hrithik and Aishwarya seems to have been made to play the protagonists.Aishwarya looks like never before and her chemistry with Hrithik seems heavenly.Hrithik is equally good in the romantic moments and the action scenes(specially the sword fight and elephant ride).
Finally, don't know it is a fact or fiction ,but JODHA AKBAR is certainly a worth watch.
